Please join us in praying for the George and Melinda Nalley family, who lost their adult son Wesley on Sunday, October 25.  George and Melinda were faithful WNAM employees for over 20 years, and George was most recently our director.  The Nalleys lost their son Anthony several years ago to Cystic Fibrosis.  Wesley also had the disease, as well as his sister, Bethany.

Rev. Larry Marshall, former WNAM director, died on September 23 from injuries sustained in a well drilling accident.  Please pray for his wife Cindy and their family.  Click here for more information.

Larry Marshall remains hospitalized in critical care at Rapid City Regional Hospital after suffering life-threatening injuries in a well drilling accident.  He is awaiting transfer to a hospital in Denver for further treatment.  You can stay informed of his progress by visiting his Caring Bridge website.

Please pray for Candice LaFontaine, a Native ministry leader at Hayward Wesleyan Church in Hayward, WI.  Her husband John died on Easter weekend from a brain tumor.  She recently gave birth to twin girls.  One of the girls was admitted to the hospital last night and had surgery on her esophagus today.

Rev. Larry Marshall, a former director for Wesleyan Native American Ministries, was critically injured in a well-drilling accident a few weeks ago.  He is undergoing emergency surgery today.  Please pray for Larry, his wife Cindy, and their family.

Please pray for the family of Larry Crow, the caretaker of the Lakota Sioux Chapel in Eagle Butte, SD. Larry lost his battle with cancer on Easter weekend.

Please pray for WNAM’s leaders as we begin to explore economic development projects that would improve the livelihood of people living on reservations and help our churches to become more self-sustaining.

Please pray for the Dakota District’s Native Ministry Team as it prepares to launch the Lakota Theological Education by Extension program to equip Lakota leaders for church ministry.  Dr. Jerry Yellowhawk, Dr. Paul Turner and Rev. Larry Salway are key leaders in this effort.

Please pray for the Dakota District’s Native Ministry Team, which is planning to re-launch a Native Wesleyan church in Pierre, South Dakota.  They are currently making building repairs and renovations and have already begun to reach out to the Native community.
